And we have some of the industry's finest talent working hard to make that happen every day, so our customers get the safest, cleanest, freshest, and yummiest greens this side of the Mississippi.
Tim Remington
Principal
Tim Remington is the third generation owner of a family business, Remington Products Company, which was started in 1934. Tim worked at the Company for 44 years and served as its President from 1982-2013. In 2008, he sold the Company to the employees thus making Remington Products 100% employee owned. Under his leadership, the Company grew to over $50 million in sales.
Kim Hookway
President
Kim Hookway is a lifetime resident of Ohio and resides in Sharon Township. Kim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Management from The University of Akron and an MBA from Walsh University. Kim worked for a local manufacturing company for 20 years where she left as VP of Operations prior to starting Buckeye Fresh. Kim is a Principal as well as the President of Buckeye Fresh.
Corey Remington
Director of Research & Technology
Corey Remington co-owned and operated a real estate investment company and home remodeling company from 2005 through 2011. He worked at a local manufacturing company for 3 years where he left as Manager of Product Development. Corey is a Principal and V.P. of Sales and Marketing at Buckeye Fresh.
Note: Corey might be the only adult in Ohio with a kids Razor scooter, which he keeps at the farm, because he says, "I can get around faster." Jury is still out on this one...
Amanda Heiss
Quality Assurance
Amanda has been part of Buckeye Fresh since 2018. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Food & Environmental Nutrition from the University of Akron, Amanda raises the bar on freshness every single day. She's also HACCP-certified and has completed grower training through the Produce Safety Alliance. To keep things simple, though, we just call her the Goddess of Freshness.
